Because documentary photography follows the same rules as photojournalism, I don’t do any retouching or heavy manipulation of your photos at all. I will make tonal adjustments, like tweaking the contrast, white balance, or exposure to make sure the images look their best, but the goal here is to present you and your family as you actually are, not as an airbrushed ideal that doesn’t really exist.
